Rameau Thierry Sokoudjou will battle fellow UFC veteran Houston Alexander in the co-main event of Shark Fights 13, a September 11 event in Amarillo, Texas headlined by a non-title bout between UFC veteran Keith Jardine and 205-pound champ Trevor Prangley.
Also on the card, Drew McFedries returns for the first time since being released by the UFC in September when he meets Strikeforce’s Joey Villasenor.

Sounds like a good card IMO
is this on tv on the west coast??
how much 4 this decent card???????
Shoot, that’s a decent card indeed.
Strong card…more “name” talent…probably means a jump in ticket price, but then again its well worth it for a good event IMO…
I know it wouldnt happen, but just putter the idea out there but why not have alexander fight mcfedries at catchweight. What a fight that would be
Alexander has a tough time cutting weigh due to him donating one of his kidneys to his daughter. I think he maybe cuts a few pounds at most, maybe no more than 3 pounds.
Thats why i said catchweight fight. Coz there is no way alexander could make 185
whoa did not know that…great guy…yea hes always looked the same at both weigh ins n fight day…i always thought he was just naturally lean but the guy is shredded
wow this card is every bit as good as a strikeforce card
yeah but sf is basicly free and what isthis ppv or what?
I guess its a decent card for “Shark Fights” but its real tough for me to even have this one on the radar when there is so much quality MMA going on in August
rooting for Sokoudjou in this one i have always liked this guys
I find this pretty damn funny… If this were a Strikeforce card everyone would be saying how the only way that Strikeforce can put on a card is with UFC rejects or guys that simply aren’t talented enough for the “big show”, clearly showing that Strikeforce is the minor leagues of MMA… Cuz its Shark fights its a “good card”, pretty funny…
I personally like this card, it should be entitled Shark Fights 13:Standup and Bang!
well that is the difference between people that now the sport and who don’t SF is good and has many great fighters and is def in the majors
really sf is the majors? they just lost 1 of their two best fighters to ufc and fedor got beat by somebody cut from the ufc. so they have overeem left as their big gun. tell me who else they have that makes them major league. ( please dont tell me moussasi or whatever his name is )
i have watched mma over 10 years now, and fr702 is partially right if it were a sf card i would prob make fun of , but for a upstart promo this is a solid card. (go houston)
