Looking forward to the Kaufman/Modafferi fight tomorrow night. Kaufman/Coenen would be a very good fight. Coenen would have the advantage on the ground, Kaufman on the feet. Still debating driving up to Everett tomorrow for Challengers.
Kind sir here is Roxy and Sarah’s “fight journal” vol 1 leading up to thier fight for the Strikeforce 135 lb belt.
Awesome! Thanks bro. Wouldn’t mind seeing a rematch between Coenen and Modafferi. Modafferi took a he11uva shot from Coenen and got caught in a pretty beautiful armbar.
Cool to see SOME North American MMA promotions taking women’s MMA seriously…
Yeah Jchol , I like watching the women fight on these big cards . Dont really remember seeing a dud ….. lots of standup and finishes . They obviously want to be looked at with respect like the guys and not as foxy boxers for a side show . so they are more willing to let it fly .
As for coenen vs sarah .hmmmmm ….. even though I am a kaufman fan I cant see her beating the much taller Marloes standing . Will just have to see the results .
Its not that I’m the hugest fan of chicks scrapping, unless its over me, but MMA has enough hurdles to climb without its biggest org essentially telling the girls that they can’t hang with the guys when it comes to stepping into the cage…
Sounds like some good stuff is brewing for women’s mma. Loking to follow women’s mma more to give them support.
Plus, Marloes Coenen’s cute :) j/k jcohl!!!
