I just went over to UFC.com and read both Serra's and Hughes' blogs they wrote after last weeks episode. I think the show is making Hughes look like a dick again, but I think he and Serra may both be genuine GOOD DUDES. I think that Serra is definately the better coach in THAT FORMAT, but Hughes' methods may be better for long term trainning goals. Hughes mentioned (like many of us here) how Danzig is being a GREAT teamate at the house, and how he was glad that he was conferting the team after Hughes' tiraides.

A couple of the comments about Serra's not showing respect towards Hughes are understandable, but only if you haven't seen all of the segments on Hughes. Matt Hughes is One Bad Dude and probably anyone he fights he wins 8 of 10, but he started the trash talking with Serra jus like he did with George St. Pierre. He likes to rip on guys and with little smart azz remarks that you would expect from a punk. You wouldn't catch Capt America talking smack like that. Both Hughes and Serra need to bite their lip and show some maturity and save it for the cage. Wallman- out

Personally I think it should not be the two fighters with teams against each other. Both coaches have great resources for all of the fighters. I would love to see the format like this.

The two coaches each pic the fightes. Picking great fights.
Second, all the players get to be coached by both coaches in two different sessions.
Thirdly, this would enhance the fights and lower the B.S between the coaches.

Serra has shown all my friends why we can not stand that whining girl.

Yeah, I agree. If Mac wasn't there Hughes' team would have probably quit or asked to be on team Serra by now. He's holding the team together more than Hughes is. Also, he's one of Hughes' two fighters still in this thing. But I'm sure someone will get injured, so when that happens, who do you think they'll let fight again? Dan?

I thought (maybe that was my mistake,THINKING!) that Hughes and Serra fought before? Come to think of it, I think I am thinking of Sherk vs Hughes. I really like Mac Danzig. Aside from his little tantrum he threw when his team mate from home lost, I think he shows the best attitude there. He even wonders why he is there with all of the "amature" fighters, but he doesn't shove it in their faces. He helps each and every one of them. Especially emotionally. I don't think it is helping Hughes though. If Mac wasn't there telling the fighters they did what they could after a loss, then Hughes might break the fighters. I think Danzig could almost be a coach. He definately has the respect of the other fighters, and I hope he wins the whole shabang. I think it would be hilarious if he fought Richie Hightower in the Quarter finals. For some reason he brings out the hate in me, and I want someone to thrash his ass. I think Mac wants to anyways.
