It was a very good piece. It mostly covered IFL fighters, but I enjoy the IFL. I also appriciate E-60 for doing a positive piece on MMA, and also the reporter down played MMA’s role in steroid abuse. He stated( which I feel holds true) that steroids might give an advantage to some in MMA, but MMA is more about flexibility, skill, heart, and knowlege more than size and gurth. All and all, 2 thumbs up. It was a lot like the piece earlier this year on 60 minutes which focused on Renzo Gracie vs Pat Miletich.

It’s cool that ESPN is covering MMA. It drives me nuts when the broadcasters on ESPN make fun of the UFC (MMA) and make it seem so barbaric. Also what drives me nuts is how some of the broadcasters try to make it seem like they know what they are talking about in terms of the UFC, but they have no idea.

Im back! Livin in the Quad Cities now. Actually like a block away from Champions (Pats Gym). It was a good piece I think. You can tell they work thier fighters to the bone….look at Matt Hughes on TUF. He works his fighters hardcore. Good to be back though, and I love the fact that they have commercials here with fighters from the IFL. Tim Sylvia also did a commercial here for Quad City Suzuki. Its funnier than hell…ill see if I can YouTube it for you guys to see!

Welcome back FixX! Sounds like a good quick move. If you haven’t yet, check out the press conference Dana and Lorenzo put on yesterday on UFC.com. It’s under “all news”. Pretty disheartening for a Couture fan such as myself. Type at ya later.
