Bellator 21 Results: Pat Curran Wins Lightweight Tournament, Megumi Fujii Stays Undefeated

Pat CurranPat Curran edged fellow lightweight Toby Imada by split decision in the main event of Thursday’s 21 in Hollywood, Florida to win Bellator’s season two 155-pound tournament and earn a shot at lightweight champ Eddie Alvarez during the promotion’s third season, which begins in August.

In the card’s other featured bout, Megumi Fujii, the early favorite for Bellator’s season three 115-pound women’s tournament, improved to 20-0 with a third-round TKO of Sarah Schneider.

  • Megumi Fujii def. Sarah Schneider via TKO (punches) – Round 3, 1:58
  • Mike Hayes def. Steve Banks via unanimous decision (29-28, 29-28, 29-28)
  • Zach Makovsky def. Eric Luke via submission (kimura) – Round 2, 4:28
