UFC 119 Expected for September 25 in Indianapolis, Mitrione vs. Beltran Likely

Joey BeltranThe UFC will make it’s Indiana debut when it hosts UFC 119 in Indianapolis on September 25 at the 18,000-plus seat Conseco Fieldhouse, MMAjunkie reports.

It is not yet known whether the event will air on pay-per-view or Spike TV, as UFC President Dana White reportedly said during this weekend’s UFC Fan Expo that the promotion will soon offer a major event free on Spike TV to make up for the disappointing April bout between Anderson Silva and Demian Maia.

A matchup between heavyweight prospects Matt Mitrione and Joey Beltran, who both earned wins at UFC 113 earlier this month, is in the works for UFC 119, after originally being targeted for UFC 117.

The UFC’s fall schedule is currently rumored to include UFC Fight Night 22 on September 15, UFC 119 on September 25, and UFC 120 on October 16 in London.
