It’s good to see Franklin get more than $21,000. In his first fight with Silva, he made only $21,000! It’s nice to see him get more than that this time around.
Well, the UFC has a weird way of paying people as we all know. But what baffles me the most is Bonnar making 22000 more than Okami, but Okami will probablt fight for the title now. Bonnar will continue to fight for……a rematch with Forrest??
Also, Vera at 100,000, never thought he would be that “appreciated”, but I guess he draws a crowd, so good for him. Oh and Dana and his Ferrita brothers together made 8.4 million.
wow… the pay on this card reflects the quallity of this card
The pay scale is still really bent. Obviously they still get their sponsership $$, and bonuses, but the big money is still going to just the names. It needs some sort of balance, and maybe a “bounty” bonus for defeating the big names.
I like the idea of a bounty bonus scotchy…Too many times some people are thrown in there as cannon fodder for the big names to get another title shot by amassing a few victories…
I LOVE it when they come up trumps…eg/ Joe Lauzon!
i think the pay scales do need looking at. it cant be right that one fighter who loses gets so much more than the one who beats him (liddell and jardine).liddell may have the big name but it takes 2 guys to make a fight!!
How does Tim Sylvia get double Rich Franklin.
More importantly how does he get more then silva:P
