Former light heavyweight champions Quinton “Rampage” Jackson and Rashad Evans successfully weighed in on Friday for their long-awaited grudge match, which headlines tomorrow’s “UFC 114: Rapage vs. Rashad” event at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas.
Jackson, fighting for the first time since March 2009, weighed in at 205-pounds, while Evans came in one pound heavier at 206.
The rest of the UFC 114 card, including co-headliners Michael Bisping and Dan Miller, also made weight without issue.

It’s Going To Be Alot Of Pushing And Shoving At This Weigh In, Should Be Interesting.
I think regardless of your Jackson POV, if the man makes weight he deserves to be commended, because as per various reports he’d had to have dropped between 40-45 pounds to hit 205/6…
But It’ll Be Interesting To See How His Body Reacts To Losing All Of That Weight In A Short Amount Of Time.
He lost most of the weight (30 lib) in a fighting camp month before the fight, now it’s more about a proper diet and dehydration.
J-COOL Z’up Hommie!!
I just saw weigh in pic’s and My Boy Rampage looks down right sickly!! HE doesNOT look muscular like when he fought Hendo and Chuck! Instead he looks just SKINNY!!
I read that Rashad had trouble cutting the final pounds INSTEAD!! And he looks THICKER than Rampage muscular wise!!!
I know when they rehydrate they will gain some weight back but I thought it was an interesting point to bring up.. Take or Make what you want out of it…..
Your thoughts…..??
Always good to see ot1 weigh-in on the weigh-ins :-)
This weigh-in was the first time I ever saw Rashad Evans appear to be the more physically substantial fighter in comparison to Rampage Jackson.
Unfortunately for Jackson, one of his advantages in tomorrow night’s fight was his [assumed] greater physical strength, but after seeing them on the scale I’d be surprised if Jackson still retains that edge.
Evans already had the edges in speed, coaching, training camp, and probably wrestling. The LAST thing I’m thinking that Jackson and his supporters want to see is a stronger Rashad Evans stepping into the cage tomorrow night…
Jchol
Exactly you hit it on the button…
I also thought the extra weight and strength would be Rampage Advantage!! BUT I forsure see my DAWG Rampage getting straight MOLLY WHOPPED tomorrow. HE looks thin drain and strained out!! His boxing will be better than Rashads but I just dont see the strength there looking like that!!
Rashad like GSP gained muscle weight and kept it in this traing camp, Rampage looks like he loss fat & muscle… He Looked like a 185er up there in the video!!!
They said on Primetime that he was down to 220 by the time he came to Vegas.
Exactly. Unlike “rumble” johnson who tried to do it in a shorter period of time.
is it me or does rampage looks not so bulky compared or rashad just looks more stockier. they both look in good shape though so pumped for this card
Go Evans Go!
lets go Rampage!!!
I’m in Ireland this weekend. I was wondering when and what channel the fights are on. Thank you.
hey andrew, its only on ESPN in ireland and you gotta subscribe to that channel through sky or NTL, and it’ll be on at 3am. Its hard to stay awake to watch the whole card but this one will be worth it :)
Thanks Man!! Enjoy the fights!
