Report: Wanderlei Silva’s Opponenet To Be Revealed Tonight
Wanderlei Silva’s opponent for his upcoming UFC bout will be announced tonight on Spike TV by UFC President Dana White according to a report by Pramit Mohapatra of The Baltimore Sun:
UFC has just notified me that president Dana White will be making an appearance tonight on Spike TV’s Scream 2007 show to announce Wanderlei Silva’s first UFC opponent.
Scream 2007 will air tonight at 10 p.m. EST.
The horror-genre awards show is pre-taped and will follow “The Tuffest 25 Moments”, a show highlighting the top 25 moments from the first five season of The Ultimate Fighter. The show will be hosted by Forrest Griffin and Stephan Bonnar and will also feature commentary from additional cast members.

Yeah it disappeared from the UFC website last night, it went up and down quick.

you know alot of people want liddell to fight…I say screw that, let Wanderlei fight someone who hasnt lost 2 in a row…I say let him fight the man who took his title….Im screamin Tito………
I really kind of hope that Randy fights out the rest of his fights, even if he doesnt want to. I would like to see him fight Big Nog, or even a Sylvia rematch.
Silva is coming off a loss too in a weaker organization, even if it was to Dan H., still he needs to work his way up and so does Chuck, so why not them slug it out now,a nd then in 3 years when they are both at the top of the division again let them do it again. Or let this fight be Chuck’s last fight…..
Chuck and Wandy it is. I am pretty sure Wandy will take this one, but I hope it’s a friggin’ bloody WAR!
So if Silva wins, maybe Chuck will retire….
I don’t think Chuck will retire, if he loses for the third time in a row. He will retire off a win for sure.
