Gerald Harris Likely to Fight at UFC 116, Opponent To Be Determined

Middleweight Gerald Harris will look to remain unbeaten in the UFC when he fights an opponent to-be-determined on July 3 at UFC 116 in Las Vegas, according to MMAjunkie.

A castmember on The Ultimate Fighter 7, Harris (15-2) wasn’t picked up by the UFC after losing to eventual winner Amir Sadollah on the reality series, but signed with the promotion after scoring a first-round knockout of UFC and WEC veteran Nissen Osterneck for his seventh-straight win.

Harris earned “Knockout of the Night” honors for his third-round TKO of John Salter in his UFC debut in January, then scored a first-round TKO of Mario Miranda at UFC Fight Night 21 in March.

UFC 116 is headlined by the return of heavyweight champ Brock Lesnar vs. interim title-holder Shane Carwin, and also features Yoshihiro Akiyama vs. Wanderlei Silva.
