UFC Fight Night 22, The Ultimate Fighter 12 Debut Slated for September 15

UFC Fight Night 22 is scheduled to take place on September 15 at a location to-be-determined, and will air live on Spike TV ahead of the debut of The Ultimate Fighter 12.

A matchup between rising UFC lightweights Jim Miller and Gleison Tibau, first reported earlier this month, is expected to be featured on the card.

After dropping a decision to lightweight contender Gray Maynard last March, Miller (17-2) has reeled off four-straight UFC wins, including a victory over Mark Bocek at UFC 111 in March, while Tibau (21-6) has won four of his last five to improve to 7-4 inside the Octagon, most-recently defeating Caol Uno at March’s UFC Fight Night 21.

Welterweight champion Georges St-Pierre and upcoming challenger Josh Koscheck will coach an all-lightweight cast on TUF 12, which begins it’s six-week production next month in Las Vegas.
