Holy Dave, first of all I don't watch WWE or TNA. I've followed Brock Lesnar career through his college years where he was an NCAA heavyweight champion. Also isn't it so convenient for Randy to retire just days before the signing of Brock. I heard it was cause he felt there was no one left to fight if he couldn't fight Fedor. One of the biggest strongest guys to ever fight in the UFC just entered his division and theres nothing left to prove. Randy Couture is one of the greatest UFC fighters of all time, but he is 44 yrs old and would probably be giving up 50 or 60lbs. Lesnar should be the champion in no time with Randy out of the way. Who's he gonna fight, flabby ass Tim Sylvia, or lucky kick Gonzaga. He'd probably beat them both at the same time. It would be a good fight in Coutures prime. If you ever call me an idiot again I'll drag your ass in the octagon you punk ass b****!!!

So Josh Savage, you honestly think that Lesner could stand in the some ring with Randy? You're an idiot. Go watch the fake shit with Sting and Hulkamania, you're just comparing apples and paperclips. No relevance.

I am a fan of Randy Couture, and I like to see him on top, but I just don't think that he can match the power of Lesnar. I've been following Lesnar since he came to the WWE. In 2004 he is on the cover of Flex Magazine curling a 300 lb dumbbell with 1 arm! No matter what Couture tried to do Lesnar would throw him around like a ragdoll. In my eyes he's a division up on Randy, super heavyweight. This guy enjoys inflicting pain. This is a dream come true. I can't wait to see. HERE COMES THE PAIN!!!

i think we can all only guess at how good he can be. as big as any man is it remains to be seen how he will be able to cope with getting hit off a quality striker.no doubt though his wrestling will be a handful for anyone and so will his power.

lesnar wrestling ability might just be the best in the heavyweight division (not counting couture) i think his size as well could cause probelems... i allready know exactully how he is gonna fight. he is gonna fight just like josh koschek and matt hamil he is gonna develop a respectable striking game and use that with his wrestling to win matches. Top 10 maybe Top 5 in the division but i could never see him as a champion

I think that Lesnar should start off with an easy fight like Brad Imes. Then he can fight a guy like Herring or O'Brien. Then if he is successful; his third fight should be against a big name.

I still think we need to see Brock in some serious competion before the hype starts. Big guy. Huge specimen actually. But there are more than size and wrestling to becoming a champ

Even if you discount his large size and strength, his wrestling background alone should bring him some great success at first. The X-factor will be whether his submission defense is on par. Strength helps, but look at Bob Sapp vs. Big Nog.

I never watched the man fight. He does have a good resume, but we'll see. I hope they don't start him out by throwing him into a fight night main event or some crap like that. Let him start with some other new UFC guy and then work his way up (televised of course). But hopefully, he will improve the HW division.
