Both fighters were somewhat tentative during the first two rounds, and at one point, they were warned by referee Marc Goddard to step up their attacks. In round three, however, a moment after Correia waved Holm on, the latter blasted her with a head kick and then a follow up punch.
With the KO win, Holm snapped a three fight losing skid, and scored her first victory since she took out Ronda Rousey in 2015, with a head kick as well.
In the co-main event, former heavyweight champ Andrei Arlovski was handed his fifth consecutive, defeat. Marcin Tybura largely turned to his grappling and top game against Arlovski, and outscored the latter for the decision win.
