So Now Jimi Manuwa’s Called Daniel Cormier a “Fat Prick”…

Daniel Cormier is set to fight Jon Jones at UFC 214, but the light-heavyweight champ and Jimi Manuwa continue to trade shots online.

After Manuwa bombed out Corey Anderson in March, the heavy-handed fighter began campaigning for a title shot. Cormier was quick to respond to Manuwa’s call outs, and while doing so, he made it very clear he’s not too worried about the British slugger.

Well, although Cormier will battle Jones on July 29th, his beef with Manuwa continues to grow. Case in point, here is some of what the two had to say to each other this past weekend, during UFC Fight Night 109. Manuwa is a training partner of Alexander Gustafsson, and was on hand in Stockholm, for the latter’s stoppage win over Glover Teixeira.

There you have it. Now while it seems that these two have quite the rivalry going, as it stands right now, Cormier – Manuwa likely won’t happen anytime soon. First, Cormier has to get by Jones at UFC 214, and if he does become the first man to hand “Bones” a legit loss, a rematch with Gustafsson is almost certainly next.

If “DC” loses to Jones a second time, however, there’s certainly a chance that the 38 year-old could hang up the gloves. Cormier has made it be known he doesn’t see himself fighting for too much longer. So, you have to wonder if the decorated wrestler would continue to fight, if the possibility of securing a short term title shot wasn’t a possibility.

Jones and Cormier fought back in 2015, and the latter lost the fight via unanimous decision.
