UFC Releases Yoshiyuki Yoshida and Jonathan Goulet After UFC 113 Losses

The UFC has released welterweights Yoshiyuki Yoshida and Jonathan Goulet following their losses at UFC 113 on Saturday in Montreal, MMA Fighting reports.

Yoshida (11-5) dropped a unanimous decision to Mike Guymon on Saturday for his second-straight loss, falling to 2-3 in the UFC with wins over Jon “War Machine” Koppenhaver and Brandon Wolff and losses to Josh Koscheck and Anthony Johnson.

Goulet (22-11) returned at UFC 113 for the first time since a 33-second knockout loss to Mike Swick in December 2008, suffering a second-round TKO to Marcus Davis, dropping him to 2-2 in his latest stint with the UFC and 4-5 overall inside the Octagon.

Kimbo Slice and Paul Daley have also been cut by the UFC following their UFC 113 losses.
