Unless Kelvin Gastelum changes his mind, it looks like the 25 year-old fighter’s career will wind down, without any more fights in Brazil…
Recently it was reported that Gastelum has been suspended for 90 days and fined 20% of his purse, as a result of a USADA flag for marijuana metabolites earlier this year. The test was conducted in conjunction with Gastelum’s quick stoppage win over Vitor Belfort, which took place in Fortaleza, Brazil in March. That result has also been overturned to a no-contest.
Well, clearly Gastelum is pretty upset with the commission, as recently the surging fighter tweeted out the comment below:
