It appears as though one of the best lightweights outside of the UFC, could be competing in an Octagon soon.
MMA Junkie is reporting that World Series of Fighting 155 champ, Justin Gaethje, is in talks with the UFC. The story cites a source in the UFC, who confirms they’re in talks with the 17-0 fighter. In addition, Gaethje’s manager, Ali Abdelaziz, told the outlet that they’re in the “process” of signing a deal with the UFC.
Recently it was announced that WSOF is being re-branded as the Professional Fighter’s League, which will have a season format. PFL President Ray Sefo, also tweeted out this recently:
