It looks like Alistair Overeem and Fabricio Werdum could battle for a third time sooner than later, as according to reports, the UFC wants them to fight again on July 8th.
The heavyweights fought for the first time back in 2006, with the legendary PRIDE organization, and Werdum won the contest via submission. They met again in 2011, while fighting for Strikeforce, and Overeem won the fight via decision.
More recently, Overeem is coming off a KO win over Mark Hunt, and Werdum scored a UD win over Travis Browne.
UFC 213 will go down at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.
