Following his jaw dropping, one punch victory at UFC Fight Night 107 this past weekend, Marc Diakiese is calling out all other prospects at 155 pounds….Seems like as good a time as ever right?

Diakiese took on Teemu Packelen at the London event, and the British fighter crushed the Finnish lightweight with a booming right hand, which KO’d him instantly. If you didn’t see the finish, you can change that right now, by clicking here.

With the win, the 24 year-old Diakiese is now carrying a record of 12-0, and “Bonecrusher” has won all three of his UFC bouts to date. Thus, this is likely why, the lightweight had this to say afterwards (quote via MMA Junkie):

“You want to hear something, don’t you?” Diakiese said. “Simple as that: I’m the best. If you think you can beat me, then call me. If you’ve not fought me, you’re not a prospect. All these prospects, you come through me and our paths will cross. But if you don’t beat me, you’re not a prospect. Simple.”

“I haven’t been quiet,” Diakiese relayed as well. “But I’m ready for the Sweden card and in Scotland. Whoever they give me, I’m ready. I’m willing to step in with these guys. I’m one of the best guys going.”

There you have it. Considering what went down on Saturday, and the run Diakiese’s been on, it’s not surprising to see he’s stepping up the self promotion. It will be interesting to see who the UFC books to fight Diakiese next. Will it be a younger prospect? Or might they have the powerful fighter take on a more established vet?
