Following a report that the T-Mobile Arena has been reserved for a possible, June 10th bout between Floyd Mayweather and Conor McGregor, Dana White is shooting down speculation that the fight is close to being signed.
Recently Flocombat reported that sources have informed the outlet that the Las Vegas arena has been put on hold, for the rumored bout. The report notes, however, that this does not mean the fight is finalized.
TMZ caught up with White following the report, however, the UFC President says the bout is “nowhere near being done”. White also said that there’s no target date for the fight.
So, this does not necessarily mean that the camps aren’t close to making a deal, but it shouldn’t prompt folks to book their Mayweather – McGregor parties either…
