Immediately after Holly Holm’s loss to Germaine de Randamie at UFC 208, she called for a rematch, and now the new featherweight champ has offered her just that.

De Randamie took home the inaugural, women’s 145 title on Saturday after receiving a unanimous decision victory. All three judges scored the competitive fight in de Randamie’s favor with 48-47 margins.

But, fans and observers are continuing to talk about the fight’s outcome, not only because of how close it was, but because of two fouls. Following round two, de Randamie blasted Holm with a late, right hand, and then after round three, she also three punches after the horn. If the Muay Thai champ had been deducted a point, then the final scores would have been 47-47.

Well, de Randamie has posted a statement on Instagram, through her management company. You can check it out below:

Let's make it crystal clear then. @ironladymma

It will be interesting to see what happens. De Randamie has also reported that she needs surgery on her hand, so if she undergoes the procedure, then a rematch would be months away. That is, of course, if the UFC wants to go that route.

Cris “Cyborg” could be eligible to fight again later this, depending of course, what happens with her USADA case.
