WEC 48 Prelims Leonard Garcia vs. Chan Sung Jung And Alex Karalexis vs. Anthony Pettis To Air On SpikeTV

With the WEC’s first pay-per-view, “WEC 48: Aldo vs. Faber,” fast approaching, the promotion’s parent company Zuffa, which also owns the UFC, is going to great lengths to make sure the event is a success. Today, UFC president Dana White announced on Twitter that they would be showing preliminary bouts to the pay-per-view on SpikeTV.

Shortly after that announcement, Spike announced that the two featured matchups would be Leonard Garcia vs. Chan Sung Jung at featherweight and Alex Karalexis vs. Anthony Pettis at lightweight.

The pay-per-view event, which will broadcast live from the Arco Arena in Sacramento, California, is headlined by featherweight champion Jose Aldo vs. former title-holder Urijah Faber, and also includes lightweight champion Ben Henderson vs. Donald Cerrone and former featherweight champion Mike Brown vs. Manny Gamburyan.

UFC broadcasters Joe Rogan and Mike Goldberg will make their WEC debuts and handle commentary for the card.
