It hasn’t taken Derrick Lewis long to get booked for his next fight, as the UFC’s announced that the heavyweight will face Travis Browne, February 11th. On that date UFC 208 will take place in Brooklyn, New York.
Lewis (17-4) fought last weekend in Albany, and stopped Shamil Abdurakhimov in round four. In doing so, Lewis extended his winning streak to five.
Browne (18-5-1), meanwhile, is coming off consecutive defeats to former champs Cain Velasquez and Fabricio Werdum.
Lewis is currently ranked #9 in the heavyweight division, and Browne is #10.
The UFC has also announced that lightweight contenders Jim Miller (28-8) and Dustin Poirier (20-5) will fight at UFC 208.
