Donald Cerrone’s run up the welterweight ranks continues, as the perennial lightweight contender took out Matt Brown last night in highlight reel fashion.
Cerrone flattened Brown with a switch kick to the head in round three at UFC 206, and in doing so, “Cowboy” recorded his fourth straight win. All of those victories have occurred since Cerrone decided to move up to 170, following his stoppage loss to now former lightweight champ, Rafael dos Anjos.
After the impressive win, Cerrone explained to the UFC’s Megan Olivi why he wasn’t overly thrilled with his performance. The Jackson-Wink MMA fighter also discussed his future at welterweight. You can check out the interview below.
