If you’ve been anxiously waiting to see Daniel Cormier – Anthony Johnson II, unfortunately, it looks like that wait is going to continue…
MMA Fighting.com is reporting that Cormier has been forced to drop out of their December 10th bout, due to an undisclosed injury. The light-heavyweight champ was scheduled to fight Johnson in the headliner of UFC 206.
“DC” recently tweeted out this to Johnson:

So, it remains to be seen what will be the card’s new main event. Anthony Pettis vs. Max Holloway is currently the co-headliner.
Johnson and Cormier fought in last May, and the latter won the bout via third round, submission.
