On a day when folks are speculating and discussing whether GSP might still face Michael Bisping at UFC 206, the promotion has announced that Anthony Pettis and Max Holloway will battle at the December 10th card.
Pettis (19-5) will be looking to build off the submission win he scored over Max Holloway in August, which was his first bout at 145. The former lightweight champ decided to make the drop from 155 after he losing three straight fights.
Holloway (16-3) has been on one of the more impressive runs in MMA, as “Blessed” has won nine straight now since he was decisioned by Conor McGregor in 2013.
So, that’s a huge, huge fight, which will have serious implications on the title picture at 145.
UFC 206 will go down at the Air Canada Centre in Toronto, Ontario.
