Recently Carwin revealed that he’s ending his retirement from MMA and that the UFC has granted him his release. The massive fighter has yet to fight, but Carwin did recently compete in a boxing match -sort of – where he took out Jason Ellis. Carwin had his right arm taped to his body…
Well, more recently, Carwin tweeted out the following comments:
I did accept a fight with Fedor. He likely won’t fight again. I meet with Rizin and they have a great offer but NOTHING is signed.

Guess we’ll see what happens. Fedor is coming off a decision win over Fabio Maldonado in June, but he was dropped, battered and bloodied by the latter. Carwin, meanwhile, hasn’t fought in a MMA bout since 2011.
