It looks as though Eddie Alvarez isn’t on board yet with the UFC’s offer to have him fight Khabib Nurmagomedov next, and the latter has turned to social media to apply a wee bit of pressure…

Earlier this week, Dana White reported that the promotion was planning to have Nurmagomedov fight Alvarez at UFC 205, and not Conor McGregor. Then more recently, it was reported that Alvarez had missed the contract deadline for the November 12th card, and that the UFC was now looking to book the match-up for UFC 206.

Well, it looks as though the light-weight champ still hasn’t signed on, as recently Nurmagomedov sent out the following tweets:

It’s certainly a fascinating situation. Alvarez has made it clear that he wants to fight McGregor, and the latter reportedly wants that bout as well. But, the UFC has elected to go with the undefeated Nurmagomedov. So, it could be that Alvarez is asking for more money. Or that he’s still holding out for a bout with McGregor.

There’s also a good chance that the featherweight champ is also asking for more cash. Or that the UFC has decided to take tighter control of its title shot pictures, at both 155 and 145.
