After Hector Lombard failed to obtain a visa to compete at UFC 78 the UFC has shuffled several matchups for the November event. Dave Meltzer is reporting that Karo Parisyan, Lombard’s opponent on the card, will now face Ryo Chonan on the televised card. Thiago Alves, who was to face Chonan in a preliminary bout, will now face Chris Lytle.

Both of these match ups will be fantastic. I honestly can’t pick a winner in either, though I would like to see Lytle win.
I like Parisyan to win his bout but I think this fight is a better matchup than it was with Lombard. Lytle-Alves should be good as well. It seems Lytle isn’t going to the WEC yet but I would venture another loss would have him go to the organization at least temporarily.
i like karo and hope he can come back to ufc with a win.hes a tough fight for anyone.
It is unfortunate that there is no title fight for UFC 78, but a tleast the match ups have recently been upgraded and the shuffling of opponents will make this PPV better than it was prior to the shuffling.
Karo is so overdew for a title shot, he keeps wining and still no title shot. This is a lose lose for Karo though, he looses and drops down in ranking, and if he wins it will seem like anothe Pride guy that is no good in UFC. I hope he puts a hole through Chonan, that is the only way he might get a fight to get to the title shot
