UFC FN 94: Uriah Hall Says “I’ve Kicked Bisping’s Ass in Training”

Kelsey Mowatt

Uriah Hall

Uriah Hall is set to fight Derek Brunson first, but the vaunted striker’s reporting if he eventually faces Michael Bisping in the Octagon, the latter’s in for a rough night. How’s that? Well, according to Hall, he dominated the current middleweight champ in a previous sparring session.

Hall and Brunson are set to throw down at UFC Fight Night 94 this Saturday, which will take place in Hidalgo, Texas. In advance of the bout the middleweight appeared on UFC Unfiltered, and Hall had this to say, while discussing Mr. Bisping. The champ is set to fight Dan Henderson at UFC 204 on October 8th (quote via MMA Mania.com):

“I’m a big fan of Dan, I hope he knocks that dude out,” Hall said. “He needs to shut the f–k up. I’ve kicked Bisping’s ass in training before, I can say that. You can quote me on that. If I ever get the opportunity, I’m definitely gonna kick his ass. I don’t like him.”

How about that? It will be fascinating to see what Bisping has to say about Hall’s claim. Chances are the outspoken fighter will have a different take on what unfolded….
Hall’s in for a tough test on Saturday, however, as Brunson has won four in a row and scored stoppages in three of them. Hall is looking to get back on track, as he’s coming off a UD loss to Robert Whittaker in November.
