Following rumors and reports that Tito Ortiz was unable to complete taping for The Ultimate Fighter 11 and was replaced by Rich Franklin, UFC President Dana White said Sunday that fans will have to watch the season, which debuts on March 31, to find out what happens.
“You’re just going to have to watch and see what happens. What’s fact and what’s fiction, you’re going to have to watch the show and find out,” said White at the UFC on Versus 1 post-fight press conference.
When the rumors first surfaced last week, White denied that a matchup between Franklin and possible opposing TUF 11 coach Chuck Liddell was in the works, but hinted Sunday that the information may not have been true.
“You never know. You know how I am. You ask me questions, and I’ll tell you the answers. But there’s some times that I have to do what I have to do,” White said.
