UFC on Versus 1 Weigh-In Results for “Vera vs. Jones”

Headliners Brandon Vera, Jon Jones, and the rest of the UFC on Versus 1 card successfully made weight today at the 1STBANK Center in Broomfield, Colorado for tomorrow’s “UFC on Versus 1: Vera vs. Jones” event, which marks the UFC’s debut on Versus.
Jones tipped the scale at 206-pounds, the maximum for non-title light heavyweight bouts, while Vera weighed in at 204.

Dos Santos is a beast cant wait for that fight hope he clips big Gabes chin!…And for the Vera fight i dont c him winning this fight but dont be suprised if he grinds out a close decision..Jones is a stud and Matt H. got lucky as hell because he was about to be split from head 2 toe!
I agree drgreenthumb, except for Vera maybe getting a decision, i really don’t see it going past the 2nd. But you never know that’s why mma is the best sport in the world!!!
Remember, Hamil’s shoulder separated after the takedown, so any chance of him getting back to his feet or reversing the position were next to nil.
I would add that while it was clear that Hamill had little or no chance of winning the Jones fight, he wound up looking like a T virus victim primarily due to illegal strikes…

Anybody watch the weigh-ins? Irvin looked like he tried cutting to 170, and Jones was an intense dude. the guy is usually all smiles and soft spoken but not tonight.
It was like Irvin was cutting weight with the trainer chick from the Biggest Loser…
Idk sandman looks like he didn’t cut wieght properly. Looks like he just starved and dehydrated himself. He looked like he was gonna pass out. I’m a little worried about the guy looks like pills and Anderson have taken out the best outta the sandman. Shame his one of my faves hopefully he recovers for tonight and comes out on top.
