According to a report from MMA Fighting.com, Shevchenko’s manager has confirmed with the outlet that she’s signed a new, seven fight extension. The deal comes not long after Shevchenko outscored Holly Holm at UFC on FOX 20 in July.
The 28 year-old fighter is currently ranked #3 in the UFC’s bantamweight division. Shevchenko is not currently booked for her next bout.
So, considering what Shevchenko (13-2) has showcased in the Octagon thus far, and her many Muay Thai accolades, it’s not surprising to see the UFC sign her to a longterm deal.
