Just curious here, what exactly in Jon Fitch’s outstanding fight profile leads you to believe that he’s going to lose, let alone get knocked out, which hasn’t happened since 2002, GSP notwithstanding?

However your certainty about this fight sort of compels me to re-post that aside from GSP, the UFC 170 division has gone 0-10 against Jon Fitch, including your pick for this fight Alves, so, y’know…
I understand your point, and i was really pumped up when i heard Alves saying he was going to knock fitch out. Fitch is one hell of a fighter but i just DONT CANT STAND the guy. Im pretty sure u have a fighter that u dislike just like everyone else, and the ones i dislike are Fitch and KOS. Maybe cuz he beat two of my favorite welterweights(Alves and Thiago) but like i said the guy is one hellf a fighter.The reason why i posted this comment is cuz i was pumped bcuz the pitbull is coming back to action against the guy that i want to see get knocked out. Fitch did not look good at all against Mike Pierce so i am not really impressed by his fights cuz most of them go the distance. So yeah i hope Fitch get KTFO :).

More like Countdown to UFC 111 “Mir vs. Carwin” with 2 minutes for Fitch and Alves.
Fitch-Alves is probably one of the best 2 or 3 170 throwdowns on the planet that could be signed, not counting GSP, yet it came off like an afterthought on Countdown.
A shame, really…
This card IMO is the best card they have put on since 100 But thats just MO!
It agree and to me its better than Abu Dhabi card.
Mir is still got his man crush on Brock. Almost as bad as GarRule on Serra! He says he’s not looking past Carwin, it appears to me he is. Carwin will take this by TKO and Mir will see his date with Brock slip away.
Alves will not knock out Fitch. Alves has some serious power, but Fitch has a solid chin. Will be a war, but in the end Fitch will come out with the UD.
Even Mir loses there is still possibility. Say Carwin wins and take Brock. Brock loses and UFC make the Mir vs Brock again! :)
