If you though there would be no repercussions as a result of yesterday’s ruckus at the UFC 202 pre-fight presser, well, it looks like that assumption was incorrect…
As you’ve almost certainly heard by now, or seen, things got a wee bit out of hand between Conor McGregor and Nate Diaz on Wednesday. McGregor was late for the press conference, and shortly after he arrived, Diaz walked out. Not before, however, he tossed some verbal shots at McGregor as well as the bird, and then both fighters, and others, started throwing water bottles.
Well, MMA Fighting.com is reporting, that the UFC has confirmed, the entourages of Diaz and McGregor will not be allowed to attend anymore UFC 202 events this week. Only the fighter’s licensed cornermen will be allowed access.
So, obviously the promotion is trying to prevent any more incidents. Will it work?
