So its been Confirmed, Corey and I are going to fly up there and watch this card live. I cant wait, this will be our first WEC card we have seen live. Only Problem is its going to be hard to rooting for Aldo in the California Kids Hometown. Quick question for fr702…. is the Arco Arena (i think is where its at) in a Ghetto part of town? Only reason i ask is so i know if it will be safe for me to wear an Aldo shirt or not :)
I wouldn’t consider the area that the Arco is in to be Ghetto what so ever. I will tell you that the “fans” of MMA that go to WEC shows flow in from surronding towns (Fresno,Stockton, San Jose, surronding areas and specifically Sacramento) those “fans” are just rather difficult to get along with, also if you do wear your Aldo shirt I don’t believe that these people would be too happy with it, MMA lives and dies with Faber in the minds of a few of the people attending… Fights will break out in the crowd and beer will be crazy expensive, Joe Martinez will tell the crowd to act like adults and if you do join the show in person you will have a GREAT time..
What if i wore a Raider’s suck shirt. Would that get me shot or stabbed? ;)
Good to know Fr702 thanks.
Corey,
you know it will ;)
I think this is one of the best MMA cards (Main Cards) in a long time. Three fights that could easily be fight of the night, and the Aldo-Faber fight could be the fight of the century at the pace these guys work. I do, hoever, think that Also will win by KO either by the end of round 1 or the middle of round 2. The guy is freakish.
Still don’t have enough disposable bread buy it. I’ll be on the Frenzy all night.
ill be here to garRule. i try to limit myself to one ppv a month and im picking 110 over this but the closer this gets i might just choose an mma ppv over food. again.
Would say come down to Portland, but would probably cost ya just as much in gas.
HAHA…considering I’m literally on the other side of the continent…heehee
