Why is there a hyphen between “Georges” and “St. Pierre?”
There’s not, but I know what you meant. It is written as “Georges St-Pierre” because that is how it appears on his website.
Actually, there is a hyphen. In Quebec (maybe France too), proper names with St (Saint) in front of it are hyphenated. Example: http://www.popmatters.com/images/blog_art/m/montreal2.jpg
Usually not a fan of Affliction, but something about this shirt is appealing…
Affliction has really stepped their game up as of late IMO. I like the last few fighter shirts they have put out. Still not really my style, but I still like them.
$60 for a shirt is a weeeeee bit steep IMO. Unless this is the finest cotton genetically engineered to grow on Sri Lankan sheep, sheered by the untainted hands of virgins and woven by specially trained monkeys on a remote island in the Philippines….
Nope, made in America.
Wool grows on sheep, cotton grows on plants.
Unless its cotton which has been genetically altered to grow on a sheep. I guess technically, it would be the sheep which would be genetically altered to grow cotton instead of woll, or a cotton plant which was genetically altered to grow a sheep but the latter somehow seems more rediculous. After all, I was going to realism.
I grew up next to a cotton field so I’m aware of the reality.
:)
MMA Apparel are some of the few apparel companies ill pay full price (or buy the real ones) for becuase it helps support the companies that help support the fighters so they can train full time which makes are sport better.
I agree with the theory but in my mind, if a ton more people wore the apparel (walking billboards for the sport), the company would make equally as much, plus there would be free advertising.
I wont buy 1 at $60 but at $25, I would have a closet full of them.
