Mark Hunt’s anger over Brock Lesnar’s failed drug tests, clearly isn’t simmering down…in fact, the vaunted striker’s outrage only seems to be growing.
Following the news that Lesnar was notified of a potential anti-doping violation, Hunt relayed that he wanted the fighter’s sizeable check for UFC 200, or his UFC release. Then, it was announced Lesnar failed a second test as well, and Hunt called for fighters to start an association.
Even before UFC 200, Hunt accused Lesnar of using PEDs, and he was extremely unhappy about the fact the latter had the four month, drug testing requirement waved by the UFC. Fighters returning from retirement must give four months notice before their fight date, so they can re-enter the testing pool. But, since Lesnar’s bout with Hunt wasn’t confirmed until about 30 days out, the promotion waved the requirement.
Well, obviously Hunt isn’t ready to close the book on what’s gone down. The 42 year-old star recently appeared on “The MMA Hour”, and here is some of what Hunt had to say (quote via MMA Fighting.com):
“I’ll go and work somewhere else,” Hunt said. “Like I said, I don’t give a sh*t. If we’ve got to sue their asses, well then f*ck you, you’re going to get sued. You scummy c*nts. The problem is everyone these days, ‘man, I want to get into the UFC.’ F*ck the UFC. You’re sh*t. You motherf*ckers don’t look after nobody.
“We’ll let this f*cking white piece of sh*t f*cking stick needles in his ass and say, ‘oh, he’s going to take us all the way to the f*cking bank.’ Let’s give him f*cking millions of dollars and not worry about this motherf*cker. You know what? F*ck that and f*ck your sh*t company. Look at that for a contract. You can sue me on that, motherf*ckers.”
Wow. It’s going to be really interesting to see what happens next. The UFC has stepped up its drug testing policies and has supported more extensive punishments for PED users. But, clearly Hunt wants to see much, much more done about PED use.
Lesnar, meanwhile, has said very little about the situation publicly. The WWE star’s only comment thus far has been that they’re “going to get to the bottom of this”.
