Mac Danzig vs. Matt Wiman Expected for UFC 115 in Vancouver
The Ultimate Fighter 6 winner Mac Danzig will look to build off his recent victory when he takes on fellow lightweight Matt Wiman on June 12 at UFC 115 in Vancouver. According to MMAjunkie, Danzig and Wiman have agreed to the matchup.
Danzig (19-7-1) dropped to 2-3 in the UFC with three-straight losses to Clay Guida, Josh Neer, and Jim Miller, but prevented his likely dismissal and snapped the losing streak with a unanimous decision over Justin Buchholz at UFC 109 in February.
Wiman (11-5), a contestant on The Ultimate Fighter 5, began his post-TUF career with four consecutive UFC wins over Brian Geraghty, Michihiro Omigawa, Justin Buchholz, and Thiago Tavares, but next dropped back-to-back fights to Jim Miller and Sam Stout. “Handsome” rebounded in December, earning a unanimous decision over Shane Nelson at UFC 107.
UFC 115 has yet to be officially announced, but is expected to be headlined by a matchup between former light heavyweight champions and rival TUF 11 coaches Chuck Liddell and Tito Ortiz and is also likely to include Mirko “Cro Cop” Filipovic vs. Pat Barry and Martin Kampmann vs. Paulo Thiago.

Hopefully Danzig Can Keep His Streak Alive.
I like both fighters so it’s hard to choose a favorite. Good matchup though!
I’m reasonably sure these guys aren’t in a “winner keeps his job” fight, but you never know…
Danzig Still Has A Few Fights Left On His Contract I Think Since He Won TUF So He’s Safe.
Just because he has fights left on his TUF contract doesn’t guarantee he’s safe. If he had lost to Buchholtz he would have been gone.
I suspect Danzig would be in more trouble than Wiman, but every so often, I’ve been known to be wrong.
Say it ain’t so!
i dont care about the main event i just want mac danzig to win because i like all the tuf winner
