Georges St-Pierre has said he wants to fight again, provided the UFC offers him the right fight and deal, but Robbie Lawler doesn’t see it happening.
Recently GSP reported that a test camp he did went well, and that he has the fire to compete again. The former welterweight champ also said, however, that his team will need to negotiate a new contract with the UFC, before a return can happen.
Over the preceding months, there’s been speculation as to whether the UFC might book GSP to fight the reigning champ, Lawler, if and when the Canadian returns. Well, recently Lawler reported to MMA Fighting.com that the UFC has not approached him about facing GSP. The heavy handed fighter also opined “I don’t think he’s coming back”.
Lawler, meanwhile, will face Tyron Woodley on July 30th at UFC 201.
