Rashad Evans and Chael Sonnen reported that Jon Jones allegedly tested positive for estrogen blockers, prior to UFC 200, and now the Nevada State Athletic Commission is saying the same.
The NSAC held a meeting today, and while doing so, the organization reported Jones tested positive for the anti-estrogenic substance Hydroxy-clomiphene and the aromatase inhibitor, Letrozole metabolite.
The UFC’s interim light-heavyweight has been temporarily suspended, and could be suspended for two years, if Jones doesn’t successfully appeal the case.
The 28 year-old star has denied knowingly taking any type of performance enhancing drugs. Jones was scheduled to fight champion Daniel Cormier at UFC 200, July 9th, but was pulled from the event after being notified of the potential anti-doping violation.
