Former Strikeforce middleweight champion Cung Le is likely to return to action in Strikeforce soon and is hoping for a rematch with Scott Smith, who scored a come-from-behind knockout in December to hand Le his first career loss:

Where was this shot?? I feel like a Kimbo YouTube fight could be happening in the background.
lol seriously looks like it……
Trailer park, barbed-wire fence, garbage receptacles….
Maybe Rampage should pay attention to the glamours of a movie star wannabe lifestyle.
^ Nice :D
Cung Le will never be champ again. Especially since hendo is in strikeforce now.
Yea because all the money he is gonna be making without having to fight isn’t worth being around odd movie sets…. right?
I’m hoping that this interview was shot on maybe the set of Le’s next upcoming movie or something, and not his neighborhood or backyard, otherwise, y’know…yikes.
Also, unless the “Master of San Shou” is ready to truly embrace MMA instead of just standing there and throwing hands, and work with Frank Shamrock on his takedown defense and catch-wrestling, he’s never going to be more than an attraction, albeit a talented one.
At least as long as the fight stays standing, that is…
i would like to see Cung Le vs. Melvin Manhoeff.
That assumes Manhoef will sign with Strikeforce. I would imagine that getting him over here will be harder than you think, especially considering his K-1 schedule as well as his Japanese MMA schedule. Other than that MINOR detail, it would be interesting.
And that whole thing about him getting obliterated by Lawler the last time he fought in the states.
Jeez, you guys with your excessive factuality and sense-making really ruins it for some of our more “free thinking” posters.
Maybe you should take it down a notch…
:P
I look on the Strikeforce website and he is a part of their roster so I believe that he has signed with Strikeforce. Plus you know that he wants to redeem himself for that disappointing loss to Robbie Lawler.
Yea no shoot where in the heke are the interviewing this cat!! TRAILER City USA! HAHA
