UFC Roundup: Cro Cop Undergoes Surgery, Liddell-Silva Verbally Agreed Upon, and More

- Mirko “Cro Cop” Filipovic recently underwent surgery for a deviated septum. In his last fight with Cheick Kongo he made comments to referee Big John McCarthy that he was getting too old for this after being kneed twice in the groin. - Chuck Liddell versus Wanderlei Silva is now verbally agreed upon according to multiple reports. The fight is expected to take place at UFC 79 in December.
- UFC 77 will be a sellout. Last word was that 12,882 tickets had been sold for $2,361,000. 600 additional tickets were available with more to come once production kills open up.
- Andrei Arlovski is now the head of security on the Jerry Springer show.

arlovski might be going to M-1 if ufc doesnt extend his contract soon. barnett, fedor, and arlovski is a good start to new owners trying to make something good happen.
and chuck vs wandy doesnt mean as much now as it did a year ago. it will most likelyend quickly with one guy losing 3 in a row great move for the ufc tho as both will retire with in the next year or 2. atleast this will take some heat off the ufc for not signing fedor.
maybe crocop will end up in M-1 after he fulfills his contract with the ufc. i know crocop want to retire but he also wants to fight fedor again.
What the hell!?!?! Arlovski has lost his noodle. Did M-1 already sign Fedor???!!! I surely hope not. Cro-Cop is done, maybe 2 more fights, but definatelty no more than that.

This is great news with one of the all time MMA Dream Matches of Liddell vs. Silva. That fight will not go to a decision; expect someone to get knocked out or TKO’ed! My prediction is Chuck gets back on track and defeats by vicious knockout. Don’t let Liddell’s last perfomance against Jardine fool you; he is still “The Iceman” amd he will have a much better showing in this fight.
Andrei Arlovski is the Head of Security for “The Jerry Springer Show”? What happened to Steve? Steve was that bald dude; all the girls wanted to ruh his bald head. Well I think Arlovski is going to do a better job than Steve, since Arlovski is the man. Hopefully he gets a deal done with the UFC on a new contract soon.
