It’s somewhat surreal to think that in less than one month’s time, Brock Lesnar will be throwing down in the Octagon once again…Not only that, he’ll do so against Mark Hunt. Who was calling that when 2016 began huh?
Yes, since Lesnar remains under contract with the WWE, the MMA world was jolted big time, when it was announced that he’ll fight at UFC 200. After Lesnar’s UFC return was announced, he spoke with his longtime business associate Paul Heyman, and now another segment has gone up featuring footage from that interview.
One thing’s for certain, Lesnar certainly seems dedicated to getting in the Octagon again, and proving to himself he still has what it takes to compete in the world’s toughest sport. In other words, it’s not just about the money as some have argued (and really, one would think Lesnar’s doing just fine in that respect).
On July 9th, Lesnar will be fighting for the first time since 2011, when he was quickly taken out by Alistair Overeem. After the loss, Lesnar said his fighting days were over, and cited his well documented battle with diverticulitis as why.

UFC 200 will be hosted by the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. In the main event, light-heavyweight champ Daniel Cormier will take on Jon Jones.
