KJ Noons vs. Andre Amade, Three More Fights Added to DREAM 13 on March 22

Former EliteXC champion and recent Strikeforce signee KJ Noons will return to MMA action for the first time since June 2008 when he faces Andrea “Dida” Amade at DREAM 13 in Yokohoma, Japan.

The Noons-Dida matchup was announced on Thursday for the March 22 event, along with Ryo Chonan vs. Andrews Nakahara, Katsunori Kikuno vs. Kuniyoshi Hironaka, and Ikuhisa Minowa vs. Jimmy Ambriz.

Noons (7-2) has won three-straight dating back to 2007, including a 48-second TKO of Yves Edwards in his most-recent fight, then signed with Strikeforce in December, but his expected debut against Billy Evangelista was scrapped for January.

Amade (6-4-1) is currently on a three-fight losing streak losing to Gesias Calvancante in the finals of K-1 HERO’s lightweight grand prix in 2007 before falling to Eddie Alvarez at DREAM 1 and Katsunori Kikuno last July at DREAM 10.
