Sarah Kaufman and Takayo Hashi will battle for the first-ever Strikeforce women’s welterweight (135-pound) championship this Friday (February 26) in the main event of Strikeforce Challengers 6 at the Civic Auditorium in San Jose, California.
Originally headlined by Trevor Prangley vs. Karl Amoussou, which is still featured on the card, Kaufman vs. Hashi now tops the Showtime-televised event, which also features Luke Rockhold vs. Paul Bradley, James Terry vs. Tarec Saffiedine, and Raul Castillo vs. Yancy Medeiros.

It’s good to see the ladies get to headline a card. This looks like a good card.
Scott Coker said he was determined to make women’s MMA a priority sometime back, and the man has proven as good as his word.
That speaks volumes to his character IMO…
