McCall (13-5-1) recently announced the fight on his Instagram page, and Scoggins (11-2) has also confirmed the match-up via Twitter.
The latter is coming off consecutive wins over Josh Sampo and Ray Borg, after Scoggins was defeated by John Moraga and Dustin Ortiz. The dynamic fighter is ranked #11 in the UFC’s flyweight division.
McCall, who had talked about the possibility of giving up the fight game, hasn’t fought since January, 2015. The perennial contender lost by unanimous decision to John Lineker. McCall is ranked #5.
So, that’s a nice addition to UFC 201, which will take place in Atlanta. In the main event, welterweight champ Robbie Lawler will square off with Tyron Woodley.
