UFC FN 87’s Neil Seery on Why Abilities of Demetrious Johnson “Sickens” Him

Demetrious Johnson has been receiving heaps of praise since he took out Henry Cejudo at UFC 197, and his fellow flyweight, Neil Seery, has added to the pile.

Seery, who is scheduled to fight Kyoji Horiguchi tomorrow at UFC Fight Night 87, recently spoke to MMA Junkie.com.  While doing so, the Irish fighter had this to say about the champ, Johnson:

“He’s just an amazing talent, and the fact that he does five rounds and he still looks like he could do another 10 rounds handy, it sickens you, to tell you the truth,” said Seery. “You’re looking at it going, ‘Hell with this man.’

“His gas tank is so good. What is he doing that all the rest of us aren’t doing, because I know when I come to the second or third round, I’m starting to get a bit tired…”

Yup. No arguments here. Now it will be interesting to see who the UFC taps to face Johnson next. The promotion is definitely running low on viable contenders. In the meantime, you don’t want to miss Seery-Horiguchi, as it should be a doozy
