Regardless of whether they win or lose tonight at UFC 110, and despite respective two-fight losing streaks, Wanderlei Silva and Stephan Bonnar will “always” fight in the UFC, Dana White said Friday during a Q&A with UFC Fight Club members ahead of the UFC 110 weigh-ins.
Silva, who makes his middleweight debut tonight against Michael Bisping, is coming off back-to-back losses to former champions Rich Franklin and Quinton “Rampage” Jackson and has dropped 5 of his last 6, with his lone victory a mid-2008 knockout of Keith Jardine.
Bonnar will look to rebound from a two-fight losing streak and a disappointing 2-4 stretch when he faces Krzysztof Soszynski tonight on the UFC 110 undercard. His 2005 fight with Forrest Griffin in the finals of The Ultimate Fighter is considered the most important in UFC history, responsible for turning around the then-struggling promotion, and, despite his recent struggles, White says he’ll always call the UFC home.
