Pettis wasn’t blown out of the water or anything, but Barboza outscored “Showtime” with punches and punished him with inside leg kicks.
After the entertaining fight, which saw Pettis lose via unanimous decision, the highlight reel striker tweeted:

Pettis was coming off decision losses to Rafael dos Anjos and Eddie Alvarez heading into the bout. The 29 year-old’s record now stands at 18-5.
